We are looking for a VP Talent Management in Ireland. This executive leadership role is responsible for transforming a foundational Learning & Enablement function into a fully integrated, strategic Talent Management organization. The position shapes how talent is developed, assessed, and advanced across a global workforce, combining strategic vision with hands‑on transformation of performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
Accountabilities
Define and execute a global Talent Management strategy integrating performance management, learning & development, succession planning, career development, and high‑potential programs.
Own the end‑to‑end performance management lifecycle, including goal setting, reviews, calibration processes, and performance improvement frameworks.
Design and lead global succession planning and high‑potential identification programs to strengthen leadership pipelines and organizational readiness.
Build career development frameworks, competency models, and internal mobility pathways that enable structured employee growth.
Oversee global learning and development programs, including onboarding, leadership development, and functional upskilling initiatives.
Lead the optimization of Workday and LMS platforms, ensuring full integration and elimination of fragmented talent processes.
Champion the adoption of AI‑driven and automated talent solutions, including learning recommendations, coaching nudges, and skills gap analysis.
Develop talent analytics capabilities to track workforce health, mobility, succession strength, and program effectiveness.
Partner with executive leadership, HRBPs, Finance, and other stakeholders to align talent strategy with business objectives.
Lead, develop, and inspire a global Talent Management team while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or broader People leadership roles, including 3+ years in a senior leadership position.
Proven expertise in performance management, succession planning, and high‑potential programs at scale.
Strong experience designing and implementing career frameworks, competency models, and internal mobility programs.
Hands‑on expertise with Workday Talent, Learning, and Performance modules, including configuration and adoption.
Experience implementing or managing global LMS platforms (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, Docebo).
Strong understanding of AI‑driven HR technologies and automation in talent workflows.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to build executive‑level dashboards and translate insights into strategy.
Demonstrated ability to simplify complex systems and streamline overlapping processes into scalable frameworks.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with executive‑level presence.
Experience leading global, cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced, matrixed environments.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM‑SCP, CPTD) are a plus.
