Job Summary:
The Front Office Supervisor role is integral to upholding The Grace Westport Estate's service standards by supporting Front Office Manager in supporting daily checklist execution, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all products, services, and events.
This position ensures operational excellence and fosters cross-departmental collaboration to deliver a consistently elevated guest experience.
Job Summary:
The Kitchen Porter plays a vital supporting role in maintaining the smooth, efficient, and hygienic operation of The Grace Westport Estate's kitchen.
This position underpins the culinary team's success by ensuring that all cleaning, storage, and back-of-house logistics are carried out to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation.
As part of a collaborative kitchen environment, the Kitchen Porter contributes to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences through operational reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, scullery, and storage spaces in line with HACCP and internal hygiene protocols.
Operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with the receipt, unpacking, and proper storage of deliveries, ensuring accurate rotation and labelling.
Support chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen setup as directed.
Ensure that waste disposal and recycling are carried out correctly and in accordance with environmental guidelines.
Work closely with chefs and service teams to maintain an orderly and efficient kitchen flow during service periods.
Communicate effectively to anticipate needs and resolve issues promptly.
Support colleagues by maintaining readiness and assisting with ad hoc operational tasks as required.
Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times.
Adhere to kitchen policies, procedures, and risk management practices.
Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the Head Chef or Supervisor.
Participate in regular cleaning schedules and internal audits.

Required Experience & Skills
Previous experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality environment advantageous but not essential.
Strong work ethic with a focus on reliability, punctuality, and teamwork.

Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene best practices desirable.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
