Due to continued expansion, a newly created Financial Controller position has arisen to support the Head of Finance and help drive the finance function through its next phase of growth.
This is a broad and varied role offering exposure across all aspects of finance within a sophisticated investment management environment. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will gain hands‑on experience across financial reporting, taxation, payroll, audit coordination and day‑to‑day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Head of Finance across all aspects of the finance function.
Assist with the preparation of quarterly financial and management reporting.
Prepare and review consolidations and financial statements.
Manage VAT returns and related compliance requirements.
Assist with corporate tax returns and tax filings.
Coordinate payroll processing and associated reporting obligations.
Oversee payment runs and treasury‑related activities.
Support year‑end audit processes across multiple jurisdictions.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and service providers.
Assist with the ongoing development of financial controls and reporting processes.
Contribute to finance projects and operational improvements as the business continues to grow
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
Between 1–5 years PQE.
Big 4 or Top 10 practice‑trained accountant preferred.
Exposure to hedge funds, investment funds, asset management, financial services or alternative investments is highly desirable.
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
Experience with consolidations and multi‑entity structures would be advantageous.
Passionate about investment management, hedge funds and financial markets.
