We are seeking an experienced Executive to lead our operations, engineering and quality teams. As the Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily business activities, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring overall business success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement business strategies to support growth and excellence
* Lead operations, engineering/quality, procurement and administration functions
* Manage operations department to highest standards to satisfy customer expectations and on-time delivery
* Ensure optimum performance of HR, hiring and training processes
* Build relationships with key customers in diverse markets
* Set objectives and improve systems and procedures
* In association with finance, manage budgets and assist in design of improvements to optimize financial performance and operational effectiveness and efficiency
* Work closely with sales/account management functions and the customer to deliver total customer satisfaction
* Build, develop and lead a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives to the highest standards
* Assume responsibility for health and safety standards throughout the organization
* Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for new business
* Develop, promote and implement ongoing continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
* Proven experience at a senior level within manufacturing and engineering
* In-depth knowledge of machining and fabrication or related production processes desirable
* Relevant third-level qualification desirable
* Excellent leadership skills including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship
* Performance-focused with strong budgeting and reporting capabilities
