**Job Title:**
Clinical Leadership Manager - Out of Hours
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for providing professional and clinical leadership during non-core hours, overseeing the management of resources including staffing and staff development. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in clinical management, risk management, and clinical audit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level professional and clinical leadership
* Manage and monitor professional and clinical standards ensuring an evidence-based care planning approach
* Lead on practice development within the clinical area
* Develop and manage departmental and nursing policy with a particular emphasis on change management
* Monitor as appropriate and lead on proactive improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI
* At least seven years post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
* Minimum of two years experience at Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Grade
* Recognised post-registration nursing course or willing to undertake one
* Evidence of Clinical Professional Development
* Proven clinical and professional management, risk management and clinical audit ability
