Atrium Global is supporting a key biopharmaceutical client in the search for an experienced Project Manager to join their Manufacturing Sciences & Technology (MS&T) organisation. This role will contribute to critical technical projects across Tech Transfer, Packaging, Devices, and lifecycle management.
Job Overview
The Project Manager will provide leadership and project management expertise across complex CMC and technical initiatives, particularly with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs). You will work as part of cross-functional Technical Product Teams (TPTs) to deliver strategic objectives, manage a large technical portfolio, and drive collaboration across MS&T, Quality, Analytical, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Execute CMC and technical strategy including tech transfer, process improvements and lifecycle management activities
* Manage and prioritise the technical book of work
* Drive scenario planning for projects, especially in devices, packaging and DP
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, charters and resource forecasts
* Create and manage project budgets and ensure on-time delivery
* Identify risks, constraints and mitigation actions
* Build and maintain high-performing cross-functional teams
* Facilitate effective meetings and support accountability across stakeholders
* Communicate clearly with governance and leadership to ensure alignment
* Utilise standard PM tools and systems (e.g. MS Project, Tableau, PPM, SharePoint)
REQUIREMENTS
* BA/BS in Life Sciences, Engineering or a related technical field
* Minimum 4 years' project management experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry
* Experience in CMC with knowledge of Packaging, Devices and/or Artwork
* Experience working within highly matrixed operational environments
* CMO / external manufacturing experience desirable
* PMP certification preferred
* Strong organisational skills with capability to manage competing priorities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
* Proficiency with relevant software tools
