About the post: The objective of the post is to provide full administrative support to the Department of General Practice, the Masters of Science in Health Care Ethics and Law programme and to contribute to its development and provide administrative support to the bi-annual short course in health research methods.
Specifically, the duties of the post are: Provide administration support to the Department of General Practice.
Assist in co-ordination of Senior Cycle 1 GP Rotations which include: Liaising with GP tutors Co-ordinating student placements with GP tutors and SARA.
Updating student rotation information on Moodle.
Assist in the delivery of student assessment and collation of student results.
Assist Senior Cycle 1 students attending department teaching sessions to ensure optimum achievement.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all teachings practices associated with the department.
Organize and administer the annual training workshops for GP tutors.
Assisting in the preparation and delivery of other courses and programmes as required including the bi-annual research methods short courses for the MCh in Surgery students.
Assisting in the preparation and delivery of the Year /IPCP programmes when required.
Scheduling, attending and collating meetings minutes as required.
Liaising and providing information to all internal and external stakeholders as required.
Provide end to end administrative support for the MSc Healthcare Ethics
