This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems to meet business requirements.
* Develop and maintain configuration management automation using Chef and Ansible.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux infrastructure and automation tools.
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application and infrastructure deployment.
* Monitor system performance, ensure security compliance, and optimize server configurations.
* Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement best practices.
* Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and automation processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Linux Engineer, System Administrator, or similar role.
* Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
* Strong expertise in automation tools like Chef and Ansible.
* Experience with Scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
* Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure principles.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
* Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
* Certification in Linux or DevOps-related technologies is a plus.
