The Sheet Metal Worker is responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and systems.
This role requires precision in working with various types of metals and the ability to follow technical drawings while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Duties:
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications
Install sheet metal products, including ducts, gutters, and roofs
Use tools and equipment safely and effectively, including shears, brakes, and welding equipment
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for project accuracy
Conduct inspections and repairs on existing sheet metal installations
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a related field.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Good mathematical and measurement skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
