Job Title:
R&D Leadership Position

Job Description:
As a senior R&D engineer, you will lead the development and enhancement of our technology and intellectual property portfolio. You will manage and coordinate R&D activities as assigned by the VP R&D and effectively communicate findings to the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead innovation and invention initiatives to extend our existing technology and intellectual property portfolio
- Execute projects in adherence to established procedures and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate products, understand disease states, and gather user needs and feedback
- Communicate project plans and progress to stakeholders and team members
- Identify and address technical issues that impact product supply and quality
- Develop and mentor junior team members to improve their skills and capabilities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in product development within the medical device industry
- Proven track record of leading projects to successful completion and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
