MAINTENANCE FITTER Our client, a well-established company in the food production and manufacturing sector, is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join their team in Waterford.

COMPANY: Our client operates a large-scale manufacturing and processing facility, supplying high-quality products to both national and international markets.
With a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement, they are expanding their maintenance team to support ongoing production growth.
THE ROLE: The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for: Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on production line machinery and conveyors.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults across plant and equipment.
Ensuring downtime is minimised and production efficiency is maintained.
Working closely with production and maintenance teams to support daily operations.
Adhering to strict health, safety, and hygiene standards.
THE PERSON: Our client is seeking candidates who: Hold a recognised qualification as a Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, or MAMF.
Have experience maintaining production line equipment within a manufacturing environment.
Possess strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
Are proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively within a team.
Have previous experience working with conveyors, pumps, and general mechanical plant.
