We are currently seeking an experienced Door person to join our Front of House team and serve as the welcoming face of our hotel.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a First-Class Welcome: Greet all guests and visitors upon arrival with genuine warmth and professionalism, assisting with luggage, doors, and transport arrangements.Maintain a Luxurious Entrance Experience: Ensure the hotel's main entrance, driveway, and lobby area are always immaculate, including door mats, signage, and guest approach areas.Guest Assistance: Provide accurate and courteous information about hotel services, room locations, dining options, and local attractions. Anticipate guest needs and offer proactive assistance.Coordinate with Front Office & Concierge: Communicate guest arrivals, VIP updates, and special requests to the reception and concierge teams to ensure seamless service.Manage Valet and Taxi Services: Assist guests with valet parking, call taxis, and coordinate transportation requests as needed.Safety & Security: Monitor guest and vehicle activity at the entrance, remaining attentive and discreet to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.Maintenance & Presentation: Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the Duty Manager or maintenance team.Support Hotel Operations: Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Manager on Duty to ensure the smooth running of hotel operations.About YouProven experience as a Door person, Porter, or Front-of-House team member within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests from diverse backgrounds.Impeccable grooming and professional presentation, reflecting the standards of a luxury establishment.A confident, courteous, and proactive approach to service, with strong attention to detail.Ability to work well under pressure, handle guest requests efficiently, and remain calm and composed at all times.Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.If you are passionate about hospitality and take pride in creating memorable first impressions, we would love to hear from you.
