Senior Electrical Engineer Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.
This role will involve leading the design and commissioning of automated machinery, as well as overseeing the development, testing, and installation of electrical distribution and control systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of electrical design concepts and solutions.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of electrical designs and installations.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical standards and regulations.
Key Requirements:
* A minimum Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* Strong knowledge of current Irish and international electrical standards, directives, and best practices.
* Design and commissioning experience of LV Distribution and MCC systems.
* Experience with 24V Controls and Automation systems.
* Proficiency in drawing packages such as AutoCad, EPLAN, and Vault.
* Cable design/sizing experience.
* Experience working with fully automated machinery.
* A proven track record in senior/lead electrical engineering roles.
