Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be confident running their own section, maintaining high standards of food quality, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and run an assigned section (grill, fry, larder, etc.) with consistency and care
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the required standard
* Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness at all times
* Assist with menu development, specials, and tastings
* Monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and support ordering when required
* Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth service
* Train and support junior kitchen staff
* Follow all company policies, HACCP procedures, and allergen guidelines
* Contribute positively to kitchen teamwork, timing, and communication
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up
* Good knowledge of cooking techniques, flavour profiles, and kitchen equipment
* Ability to work cleanly and stay organised under pressure
* Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
* Understanding of HACCP, food safety, and allergen procedures
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy service periods

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €15.00-€17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
