Inventory Manager Role
Sysco is looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join their team in a key Operations role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of inventory and Driver Check In functions.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience in inventory control, preferably in a food distribution environment. They will also have supervisory experience overseeing large teams and excellent communication skills.
As an Inventory Manager at Sysco, you will be responsible for:
* Reviewing and updating processes to ensure the team is working efficiently and productively
* Developing Standard Operating Procedures for all Inventory and DCI Team processes and responsibilities
* Creating new colleague onboarding plans and existing colleague training and development plans for Inventory and DCI team members
* Identifying and implementing KPI metrics and targets from which individual team members and overall team performance are measured and managed
* Maximizing the performance of the Inventory and DCI function at every opportunity
* Striving to harness Sysco's technological resources and ensuring all practices are in line with sustainable goals
* Tracking root cause of inventory issues and working closely with Operations Management to implement and track effectiveness of corrective actions

Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in inventory control
* Supervisory experience overseeing large teams
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to influence across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
* Competent in breaking down a problem and understanding the root cause
* Strong time management skills and proven commitment to attendance, punctuality, and health and safety in the workplace
* Experience using a warehouse management system and strong Excel skills
* Strong knowledge of applicable industry regulations
