**Job Title:** Director Global Procurement
Job Description
The Director, Global Procurement will be accountable for leading the development and implementation of global facilities, capital, and logistics category strategies to support business growth and efficiency. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to drive discussions related to global facilities, capital, and logistics categories and align category priorities with procurement management.
* Lead negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement for the global facilities, capital, and logistics category
* Drive value through cost savings, cash flow improvement, and efficiency gains from category management activities
* Represent procurement in organizational decisions with critical impact on the organization's success, efficiency, growth, and results
* Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards
Skillset:
This role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 12+ years of experience in procurement, preferably with substantial experience in pharma/biopharma. Knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry is essential.
Requirements:
A high level of expertise in sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management is required. Experience working in a matrixed global organization while driving local priorities within a global framework is also necessary.
