Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of mechanical building services on a large-scale project.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, and at least 3 years of experience in mechanical building services or construction engineering.
You should have excellent technical skills, strong site coordination abilities, and effective stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
* SUPPORT DESIGN DEVELOPMENT, TECHNICAL QUERIES, AND EQUIPMENT/MATERIAL APPROVALS.
* Ensure installations meet project requirements and comply with European and German standards.
* Monitor mechanical works on site, resolving issues with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Attend coordination and site meetings; track installation progress and report to the Project Manager.
* Maintain documentation including ITPs, quality records, RFIs, and red-line drawings.
* SUPPORT TESTING, COMMISSIONING, FAT/SATs, AND PREPARATION OF O&M AND HANDOVER DOCUMENTATION.
* Promote and enforce site health, safety, and compliance with IMS and ISO standards.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* At least 3 years of experience in mechanical building services or construction engineering.
* Experience on large commercial, industrial, data centre, or pharmaceutical projects.
* Knowledge of German standards (DIN/VDI) advantageous.
* Fluent English; German language skills an asset.
