About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced professional to coordinate welfare and casework supports for residents living in various styles of accommodation. This role focuses on direct engagement with residents, ensuring their welfare needs are identified and addressed, and on orchestrating structured collaboration between statutory and community stakeholders.The successful candidate will conduct regular welfare meetings with residents, oversee case work, and chair monthly multi-agency meetings to ensure coordinated service provision. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organisational, facilitation, and safeguarding skills.Key Responsibilities·Provide ongoing psychosocial support to individuals from multicultural backgrounds navigating housing transitions and social reintegration.·Conduct mobile outreach and in-person visits to accommodation centres across the midlands – East of the country.This area may expand depending on the needs of the business·Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with statutory and community stakeholders to support holistic service delivery.·Organise and facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and case conferences.·Maintain accurate case notes, risk assessments, and support plans in line with GDPR and organisational standards.·Advocate for clients' access to education, employment, health, and social services.·Identify gaps in service provision and assist in the design of responsive outreach strategies.·Identify and escalate safeguarding or welfare concerns in line with policy.·Ensure all work is delivered in line with best practices in safeguarding, equality, and inclusion.·Support ongoing training for staffPerson SpecificationEssential:·Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Work or a related discipline (Social Care, Community Development, etc.).·At least two years experience in casework with vulnerable individuals or families·A Bi-Lingual candidate with fluency in English and at least one other language (verbal and written) – e.g. French or Arabic.·Strong safeguarding knowledge and ability to manage welfare concerns·Strong understanding of the challenges related to homelessness, trauma, displacement, or migration.·Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.·Excellent communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills.·Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, mobile schedule.Desirable:·Experience working in outreach or mobile roles across counties.·Training in intercultural competence, trauma-informed care, or case management.Familiarity with Irish social care and housing systems.Job Type: Full-timePay: €38,000.00-€43,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
