Project Manager / Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities: What You'll Be Doing
As the Project Manager / Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in overseeing the full lifecycle of project cost management. Your core duties will include:
* Cost Management & Analysis:
Developing project cost estimates, cash flows, and financial plans. You will regularly
review, challenge, and validate
CAPEX/OPEX costs against approved budgets, providing detailed financial analysis and variance reporting.
* Contractual Excellence:
Ensuring all tender outcomes (scope, exclusions, etc.) are accurately defined in contract documentation. You will review and validate contract variations and vendor claims to
protect company interests
.
* Stakeholder Reporting:
Preparing and presenting detailed cost forecasts, budget risk assessments, and performance reports to the Project Manager and
Senior Leadership Team
.
* Advisory & Support:
Providing expert advice on building economics and cost management. You will support tendering procedures and contract arrangements, always focusing on
cost-effectiveness and compliance
.
* Financial Close-out:
Participating in final account meetings and ensuring the accurate financial closure of major projects.
Qualifications & Experience Required
* Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor (QS Degree essential).
* Minimum 3+ years' experience
in cost control, ideally within large-scale
CAPEX or investment projects
.
* Strong proficiency in
SAP
and
Microsoft Excel
is a must.
* Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills
with strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
* Demonstrated ability to
communicate effectively
and build strong working relationships across internal teams and external engineering partners.
* Highly motivated
self-starter
who is resilient and results-driven, with the ability to perform under pressure.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English.
