They are now recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team at their Head Office in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. Responsibilities: General: Analyse sub-contract agreements with main contractors Carry out commercial duties including budgeting, measurement, procurement, and drafting sub-contract agreements Prepare commercial reports for internal and external review Demonstrate strong understanding of various construction contract types Contribute positively and proactively to the team Data management: Maintain comprehensive project records Prepare and present accurate budgets Produce detailed commercial reports for all project aspects Deliver all internal and external reporting on time Contract management: Advise the project team on contractual matters and administer sub-contract agreements Carry out monthly interim valuations for main contractors Identify risks and opportunities within sub-contracts Manage contractual matters with the supply chain Understand bonds, guarantees, warranties, and insurance requirements Working knowledge of the Construction Contracts Act 2013 Construction Technology: Interpret 3D models, complex drawings, and specifications Analyse costs, compare to budgets, and report promptly Demonstrate strong understanding of construction technologies Requirements: An accredited course by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Chartered Institution of Engineers (IEI) Excellent communication skills. Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and plan effectively within a strict deadline environment. Minimum 5 years experience operating in a similar role. Excellent computer literacy.
