Job Overview:
* As a payroll specialist, you will be responsible for managing the weekly payroll process for a large number of employees.
* You will also be required to prepare and present relevant management reports on an as-needed basis.
* Additionally, you will maintain and update records in various payroll and time management systems.
* It is essential that you ensure full compliance with Irish tax and employment legislation at all times.
* You will also provide support to the accounting department, including data entry and purchase order processing.
* Furthermore, you will perform general office administration tasks, such as reception and telephone duties, and other ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll processing is mandatory, along with strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and revenue systems.
* IPASS qualification is also highly desirable.
* Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and IT skills are required, with a strong proficiency in Excel.
* You must possess a proactive work ethic and the ability to identify and implement solutions effectively.
