We're hiring a Bistro & Gourmet Shop Supervisor and Barista—to join our warm and dynamic team.
About Us
Choquera is a proudly family-run Andalusian bakery, bistro, and gourmet catering business. Inspired by the rich flavours and traditions of southern Spain, we are known for our homemade food, organic coffee, and warm hospitality. Every dish we serve is made from scratch, using fresh, locally and Spanish-sourced ingredients. Our team is small, close-knit, and united by a passion for quality and genuine customer service.
What We're Looking For
We are on the lookout for a Front of House Supervisor & Barista who can lead by example, keep service running smoothly, and ensure every customer feels welcomed and well looked after.
This is not an entry-level role. We're looking for someone who already has café or bistro supervisory experience and knows how to manage a fast-paced front of house with confidence and calm. You must be a team player, a great communicator, and someone who takes pride in offering top-notch service and great coffee and like working with the team and upselling our Spanish and Irish cuisine range.
Your Role
* Oversee the daily operations of our busy Café and Bistro
* Lead front of house staff and ensure high standards of customer service
* Support the owner and executive chef in managing the day-to-day workflow
* Maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest
* Manage time and tasks efficiently during busy periods
* Ensure the bistro is always clean and ready to receive customers
What You Bring
* Experience in a Café, Bistro, or hospitality supervisory role
* Excellent barista skills — making high-quality coffee is essential
* A sharp eye for detail — every plate and cup should leave the counter perfect
* Friendly, approachable nature with strong communication skills
* Passion for Andalusian food, coffee, and creating meaningful guest experiences
* A steady, positive attitude — even during the rush
* Ability to maintain high hygiene standards
