IRN (Industrial Relations News) is a specialist publishing company with a weekly publication on industrial relations and employment law in Ireland, and a monthly publication on occupational health and safety (HSR – Health & Safety Review). IRN has been published since 1979, and HSR since 1997. Both publications are available in hard copy and online. We also hold the contract as the Ireland correspondent for the European Foundation for Living and Working Conditions. IRN and HSR each organise annual conferences for their subscribers. Neither publication has any direct competitors in Ireland. The IRN subscription database is made up of larger corporations, government departments, trade unions and consultants.

Subscriptions Sales Executive (Hybrid)
Job description
* Sales and business development of subscriptions and conferences
* Outbound calling to increase subscriptions
* Maintaining subscriber databases
* Weekly contact with IRN subscribers – email publication contents
* Initially reporting to Managing Director but also establishing a key working relationship with Editor of IRN
* Engagement with general management overview
* Opportunity for hybrid working, initially three office days per week with potential to reduce to two office days per week after induction
* +3-year direct sales experience
Business expectations
The first priority will be to strengthen the current subscriber base and retain existing customers. Cancellation rates are consistently less than 10% pa.
There will be a hand over period for the new starter. Full training and support will be given.
Remuneration package
€50,000.00 plus performance-related bonus is uncapped.
Pension scheme with company contribution and Vhi contribution
Candidates should be self-motivated, develop an interest and understanding of the topics in IRN and become comfortable talking about the content with potential new subscribers
