BIM Project Coordinator Position:
This role involves working with a leading building contractor on various projects across the healthcare, education, and construction sectors in the UK and Irish markets.
* Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans in accordance with Employer Information Requirements.
* Monitor and control subcontractor BIM models and drawings according to Master Information Delivery Plans and Model Production Delivery Tables.
* Produce weekly clash detection reports and facilitate project coordination through design team workshops.
* Assist the project Document Controller in maintaining the Common Data Environment (CDE) following industry protocols.
* Provide training and supervision to project stakeholders on utilizing models for coordination, cost analysis, and programming.
* Model using Revit and generate sketches/drawings from BIM models to support site teams as needed.
* Manage asset information collation and input into asset information models for handover at project completion.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience with BIM software, particularly Revit, NavisWorks, and AutoCAD.
* Familiarity with the BIM 360 platform is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 requirements and industry protocol.
* Able to work independently and lead coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
* Quick learner and adaptable to new software systems.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with people verbally and in writing.
