Organisational Leader Role
The role of the Chief Executive Officer involves assisting the Board in developing the organisation and enhancing its services. The CEO will lead a team of staff and volunteers, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and achieve organisational objectives.
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.
* Develop funding proposals and collaborate with relevant parties to secure funding.
* Represent the organisation at various events and promote its services.
* Maintain a risk register and advise the board on ongoing risks and mitigation strategies.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, including financial management and human resources.
Person Specification:
* Proven experience at a senior level in a similar or equivalent organisation.
* Understanding of corporate governance and financial management principles.
* Relevant third-level qualification in Business Management, Human Resources, Social Policy, Psychology, Education/Training, or relevant field.
* Full clean driving license and use of own car for work purposes.
* Proven experience as a CEO or in another managerial position in the not-for-profit, public, or private sector.
* An entrepreneurial mindset and experience in developing strategies and implementing vision.
