Senior Culinary Lead
Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Chef de Partie to join a busy, professional kitchen. This individual will be working alongside a talented Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality food across a range of service areas.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring seamless service delivery during busy periods.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the preparation and presentation of food for breakfast, carvery, bar food, restaurant service, banquets, and events
* Carry out HACCP duties and ensure compliance with food safety standards
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and kitchen efficiency
* Support the development of new menu ideas and promotions
* Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
* 2-3 years' previous experience in a similar role within the hotel industry or a busy food business
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and support all kitchen areas when required
* Excellent knowledge of food, kitchen operations, and current industry trends
* Able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
