The Role
We're hiring a
Quality Assurance Specialist
to harden our security products before they reach customers. You will design and execute test strategies, automate core regression flows, and partner with engineering and security analysts to raise product quality and reliability.

Remote in Ireland (core hours aligned to Dublin)
Responsibilities
* Define and maintain test strategies, plans, and traceability from requirements to test cases.
* Execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across web apps and APIs.
* Build and maintain automated tests (UI and API) to minimize manual regressions.
* Validate security-adjacent features (auth flows, RBAC, audit logs, permissions).
* Log, triage, and verify defects with crisp repro steps and severity; drive root-cause prevention.
* Own release readiness gates (test reports, pass/fail criteria, sign-off).
* Track and improve quality metrics (defect leakage, flake rate, coverage, MTTR).
* Collaborate with engineers, product, and security to embed quality earlier in the SDLC.
Minimum Qualifications
* 2–4+ years in QA/Software Testing or SDET roles (or strong equivalent).
* Solid testing fundamentals (test design techniques, SDLC, CI/CD).
* Experience testing REST/JSON APIs and web applications; basic SQL.
* Exposure to UI or API test automation (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman/Newman, pytest).
* Strong written communication and disciplined documentation habits.
* Eligible to work in Ireland.
Preferred Qualifications
* Contract testing (e.g., Pact) and schema validation.
* CI systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and containers (Docker).
* Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, authentication/authorization patterns.
* Performance testing (k6, JMeter) and accessibility testing (Axe, Lighthouse).
* Experience reducing test flakiness and stabilizing environments/test data.
Tooling
TypeScript/Node, Python, Playwright/Cypress, Postman/Newman, GitHub Actions, Docker, Jira/Linear, Notion/Confluence.
