Clinical Nurse Manager II
Ensuring high-quality patient care delivery is at the forefront of our organization's vision. To achieve this, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Manager II to lead and coordinate the implementation of quality care initiatives within designated areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Quality Care: Develop and implement strategies to promote best practices and innovative solutions in patient care delivery.
2. Nursing Staff Supervision: Effectively manage nursing staff, allocating tasks fairly and maintaining a safe working environment.
3. Patient Relationships: Foster open communication and trust with patients, families, and carers.
4. Care Assessment and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate patient care through regular assessments and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Professional Development:
* Staying Current: Stay updated on latest research and practices, incorporating evidence-based approaches into patient care.
* Research Participation: Participate in research activities, contributing to the advancement of nursing knowledge and skills.
* Staff Support: Support educational and professional development needs of staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Leadership and Management:
1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership, driving change and innovation within clinical areas.
2. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
3. Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with standards and legislation.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Nursing Registration: Registered nurse with General Division registration from NMBI.
* Management Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in management positions, preferably in Day Surgical Units.
* Education and Training: Completed management course or commitment to undertake same.
* Development and Awareness: Evidence of continuing professional development and HR policy awareness.
