Your new role As a Global Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payment process.
This includes preparing and processing payment schedules and proposals, conducting audits, handling emergency and off-cycle payments, and resolving payment errors.
You will work closely with internal teams to ensure payment accuracy, manage bank statement reprocessing, and address payment-related queries.
The role also involves supporting internal and external audits, maintaining SOX compliance, preparing cash forecasts in collaboration with Treasury, and contributing to process improvements such as increasing Straight Through Processing (STP) rates.
You will also be involved in training approvers, managing user access, and reviewing payment terms and templates.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience-preferably in the logistics industry.
Strong Excel skills, excellent organisational and project management abilities, and effective communication skills are essential.
You should be detail-oriented, adaptable to ad hoc challenges, and capable of motivating and training team members.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
