Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Location: ROI (Hybrid) Contract: Initial 6-month day rate (with potential extension) Role Overview My client is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems.
You will work across engineering, operations, and security teams to implement automation, monitor systems, and ensure resilient, high-performing platforms.
Key Responsibilities Maintain and optimise cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) for reliability and scalability Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for production systems Manage containerised workloads and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Drive infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.) Troubleshoot production issues and lead incident response efforts Collaborate with development teams to improve system performance, availability, and maintainability Key Requirements Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar Dev Ops/SRE role Strong cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, etc.) Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.) Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent) Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.) Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills Additional Information Immediate interviews and quick start available.
