We are supporting a well-established financial services company in North Dublin in hiring a Financial Accountant. Reporting to the local management team, this role will work closely with key stakeholders across the finance function and wider business. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, balance sheet management, regulatory submissions, process improvements, and audit support. This is a strong opportunity for a fully qualified accountant looking for a broad, hands-on role within a collaborative and growing finance team. Compensation & Benefits: €70,000 - €75,000 Attractive Pension Scheme Income Protection Private Healthcare A full list of benefits will be disclosed at prescreening stage Key Responsibilities Prepare, post and reconcile month-end journals across several entities Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in line with group requirements Prepare core monthly regulatory returns and support quarterly reporting cycles Review and enhance existing finance processes, identifying risks and strengthening controls Assist in maintaining clear and up-to-date process documentation Act as a point of contact for external auditors and internal teams throughout interim and year-end audits Contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts and supporting schedules Produce accurate, relevant documentation to substantiate financial statement balances Build collaborative working relationships across the local finance team, wider business and UK-based colleagues Skills & Experience Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Audit background Experience preparing statutory accounts Strong grounding in financial control Experience with SAP Exposure to regulatory reporting Skills: Statutory accounts audit financial services Benefits: Work From Home
