Responsibilities
We are seeking to join the Psychiatry Team. The role includes:
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
* Maintain the highest level of infection control standards.
* Design and implement business strategies to meet centre objectives.
* Oversee compliance with legal policies, guidelines and standards.
* Ensure sufficient and qualified personnel for all departments.
* Organise and run patient care and administrative operations.
* Perform quarterly and annual employee reviews.
* Promote advocacy for the rights of individuals.
* Monitor standards of care and support development of nursing audits.
Main Responsibilities
* Take clinical responsibility for patients residing in the Approved Centre.
* Contribute to clinical governance and service strategy as required.
Qualifications
* Full Registration (general and specialist) with the Irish Medical Council.
* Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
* Evidence of achievement in education, research, audit, and service improvement.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.
Experience
* Leadership and senior management experience within a large organisation in either public or private sector.
* Experience in producing high quality documentation and reports, preferably at Board level.
* Experience in psychiatric practice across various settings, preferably ID and Forensic settings.
Skills
* Excellent clinical skills using a biopsychosocial perspective and extensive medical knowledge.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
* Ability to take a leadership role in multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high quality care.
* Ability to manage own time, workload and prioritise clinical work.
* Ability to appraise own performance as a senior leader and consultant.
