Job Description:
The Reporting and Analytics Specialist is a key member of our team responsible for delivering high-quality reporting services to end-users. The primary focus is on developing, managing, and optimizing reporting processes to support operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.
This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, reporting tools, and the ability to translate sophisticated data into actionable insights.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and develop tailored solutions aligning to our methodologies and ways of working.
A typical day might include collaborating with multi-functional teams, senior partners, and stakeholders to capture reporting needs and translate them into actionable digital solutions from the ground up.
Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and implementation of innovative performance dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Splunk.
Additionally, the Reporting and Analytics Specialist will continuously identify and implement improvements to reporting processes and methodologies.
They will analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Providing training and support to team members on reporting tools and standard processes is also an essential part of this role.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all reporting activities is crucial.
Acting as an ambassador for IT, working across the business to provide effective communication on IT matters and build partnerships with teams to ensure effective dialogue between departments is also vital.
This role may be suitable for individuals with experience in performance management, insights, or reporting roles across major infrastructure-based programs.
Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and Splunk at an advanced level is required, along with a solid grasp of SQL scripting and some experience with Python scripts.
Strong Gx P experience and demonstrable experience of leading in highly regulated environments are essential.
The ideal candidate should possess the ability to assess customer needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate courses of action.
In order to be considered for this position, you must hold a BS/BA in Information Technology or a related field and 6+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an FDA or similarly regulated environment.
