Overview MCS Group are excited to partner with an award-winning packaging and distribution company to recruit a Field Sales Representative as part of their expanding team.
This position is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business focused on delivering innovative packaging solutions.
The successful Field Sales Representative will primarily operate across Northern Ireland with occasional visits to Dublin.
Approximately 40% of the role will focus on nurturing existing client partnerships, while the remaining time will be dedicated to generating new business opportunities.
This Field Sales Representative role offers a unique chance to contribute to a company renowned for its commitment to quality and customer service, while working within a supportive and ambitious team environment.
Essential Skills & Qualifications Strong field-based sales experience, ideally in packaging or a similar technical/solution-led environment Proven ability to manage both existing accounts and drive new business A proactive, "can-do" attitude with strong problem-solving skills Commercial awareness and the ability to quickly understand a wide product range Must be comfortable making cold and warm calls and visiting customers face-to-face Full driving licence (company vehicle provided) Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients across multiple industries Roles & Responsibilities Manage a territory across NI and some bordering counties, with occasional travel to Dublin Split workload between existing customer check-ins and new business activity Conduct cold and warm calls to identify potential opportunities Carry out first-stage meetings to understand client needs and gather requirements Deliver follow-up meetings with product samples, including hands-on demonstrations to ensure compatibility with client machinery Plan weekly field activity every Friday afternoon and present plans during Monday team meetings Build strong client relationships and contribute to the team's overall growth Work in a self-directed way, taking ownership of planning, activity, and solutions Ramp up over the first six months, focusing on learning products and the business, no KPIs during this initial period What's on Offer Competitive salary £35K-£50K, and commission structure Company car Opportunity to join a growing and well-established team within a thriving company Supportive leadership team with clear progression opportunities Realistic targets and a six-month onboarding period with no KPIs How To Apply To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Lara McGlinchey, Associate Specialist Consultant at MCS Group on .
