Job Description:

* Manage and Coordinate Renal Services: Oversee the management and coordination of certain aspects of haemodialysis service, including Monthly Bloods, analysis, and prescription specific to Anaemia and Renal Mineral Bone Disease management.
* Transplant Work Up and Follow Up: Take responsibility for transplant work up and follow up, ensuring suitable patients are placed on the transplant pool in a timely manner.
* Hepatitis B Vaccination Programme: Prescribe vaccination, monitor annual titres, and prescribe boosters where required, monitoring non responders.
* Audit and Reporting: Compile and report monthly and annual audit data for the AIS, planning implementation, and evaluation of outcomes through audit.
* Patient Needs Planning: Plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs, taking responsibility for nursing issues and interventions in relation to the post specified.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Nursing Qualification: A qualification to degree level in Nursing and registered with NMBI.
* Postgraduate Diploma: Postgraduate Diploma in Renal Nursing
* Strong Planning and Organisation Skills: Strong planning, organisation, and work prioritisation skills.
* Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills.
* Administrative and IT Skills: Strong administrative and IT skills.
