Job Summary
Enable Ireland provides services to over 13,000 children and adults with disabilities and their families from 43 locations in 14 counties.
Covering childhood to adulthood, our expert teams work with individuals and their families on a plan for each life stage.
You will be working in Dublin South East (CHO6) with full-time and part-time opportunities in Sandymount and Leopardstown.

Salary Scale
: €62,072 – €73,477 rata per annum.
Salary scales are subject to Long Service Increments.
Annual Leave Entitlement
: 33 days pro rata per annum, proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities
Enable Ireland delivers children's services through the Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNT) under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model for children and young people with complex needs arising from a disability.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a range of Occupational Therapy services for young people (0-18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework.
Service will include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service development, delivered through a family-centred approach across a variety of settings including the clinic, preschools, schools, children's homes and community settings.
Candidate Requirements
Hold professional registration on the Occupational Therapist Registration Board (CORU).
Have three years of full-time (or an aggregate of three years) post-qualification clinical experience.
Have the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Provide proof of statutory registration with CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the State.
Minimum one-year post-qualification experience working with families and children with a range of physical disabilities/developmental delays.
Experience working with children 0-18 years and their families.
Experience and/or training in clinical supervision.
Minimum of two years' experience working in a children's disability service.
Experience of multi-interdisciplinary team working.
Experience supervising students/therapy assistants.
Annual Registration
Practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by CORU.
Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
