Key Responsibilities Create, maintain, and administer detailed construction programmes and schedules Liaise with managers, engineers, and wider teams to track and review project progress Co-ordinate with external contractors, suppliers, design teams, and stakeholders Monitor live projects and generate progress reports for internal teams and clients Present planning updates and programme insights at internal and external meetings Identify programme risks, propose solutions, and support issue resolution Assist with consultations and negotiations involving consultants and developers Develop pre-construction requirements and prepare schedules to meet project deadlines Understand planning requirements and methodologies across different contract types Apply modern building techniques, plant and equipment knowledge, and logistical considerations to programme development Assess cost impacts and incorporate them into programme and construction sequencing Provide planning input for bids, PQQs, tender proposals, and live project support Prepare information for pre-, mid-, and post-tender interviews and presentations Requirements 5+ years experience in a similar role Main contracting experience strongly preferred Degree in a construction-related discipline desirable Proficiency with programming tools such as ASTA Powerproject Strong database and progress-tracking skills Excellent analytical and time management abilities, with the ability to meet deadlines Outstanding communication skills Advanced IT proficiency Why Join This Contractor?
