We're passionate about sustainable practices and committed to supporting local producers.Role OverviewThe Café Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the stadium café located within Dexcom Rugby Stadium. The café operates six days a week from 8:00–16:00 (closed Sundays); however, working hours will vary on match days and during special events. The manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards, efficient staff management, strong operational performance, and a welcoming experience for all visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.Ensure smooth service delivery during standard hours and adjust operations as required for match days.Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage stock rotation effectively.Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations.Ensure all equipment and facilities are well maintained and any issues are reported promptly.Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise café staff.Provide ongoing mentoring, performance reviews, and support team development.Ensure adequate staffing levels for both regular days and busy match days.Foster a positive, collaborative working environment.Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.Resolve customer queries or issues professionally and efficiently.Create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere that reflects the Master Chefs values.Manage daily cash handling, banking, and reconciliation processes.Monitor sales performance, control costs, and support revenue growth initiatives.Oversee stock management, including budgeting and waste reduction.Plan and manage café operations in line with stadium event and match schedules.Prepare for high-volume service, ensuring sufficient stock and staffing.Collaborate with stadium management and hospitality teams to support wider event needsWhat We're Looking ForAn experienced hospitality professional with a background in café or foodservice management.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and manage a team.Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and daily operations.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation.Flexible and adaptable, especially during busy match days and events.Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering a positive experience for staff and customers.Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to €35,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
