Administrative Operations Coordinator (Property Services) – Government Body, Athlone (Hybrid)
Location:
Athlone (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Salary:
€28,077 (fixed, non-negotiable) with annual increments

A reputable government body is seeking an
Administrative Operations Coordinator (Property Services)
to join their
Strategic Property Management team in Athlone
.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised candidate looking to further build their career within a collaborative public sector environment.
The successful candidate will support a busy property division across administration, coordination, reporting, and project support activities, while gaining exposure to strategic property initiatives and wider divisional operations.

This position would suit a graduate or junior professional with strong administrative experience, excellent attention to detail, and confidence using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Property Management team, including the management of correspondence, records, and information requests.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, property datasets, and supporting documentation.
Support Property Executives in the coordination and delivery of strategic projects and divisional initiatives.
Coordinate submissions and reporting requirements for senior management, internal committees, and government departments.
Conduct research, prepare reports, and assist with ongoing project tracking and monitoring activities.
Support the administration, oversight, and monitoring of divisional contracts and sustainability initiatives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, contributing to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and workflows.
Respond to internal and external queries in a professional, efficient, and timely manner.
Provide flexible operational and administrative support across a range of team projects and activities as required.
Requirements & Skills
Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or business support role.
Third-level qualification is desirable.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience using digital communication tools and familiarity with social media platforms.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work independently using initiative.
Demonstrated interest in operations, project coordination, and business process improvement.
