Part-Time Receptionist Location: Limerick, Ireland Industry: Tax, Accounting & Financial Services Employment Type: Part-Time About the Role We are seeking a professional and personable Part-Time Receptionist to join our tax and finance practice based in Limerick.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a welcoming, organised, and efficient front-of-house environment while providing essential administrative support to our team of accountants and tax specialists.
Key Responsibilities Front Desk Management: Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage incoming phone calls, email enquiries, and appointment scheduling.
Maintain the reception area to ensure a tidy and organised workspace.
Client Support: Assist clients with basic queries and direct them to the appropriate team member.
Manage sign-in procedures and maintain confidentiality of client information.
Administrative Duties: Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
Prepare, scan, and file documents in line with GDPR requirements.
Assist with data entry, document formatting, and preparation of client packs.
Support the administrative and accounting staff as needed.
Office Coordination: Monitor and order office supplies.
Liaise with service providers when necessary (e.g., maintenance, stationery suppliers).
Key Requirements Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or front-of-house role preferred.
Experience in a finance, tax, legal, or professional services environment is an advantage.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisation and multitasking abilities.
Competence in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling confidential documents.
Attributes: Professional, friendly, and client-focused demeanour.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Commitment to discretion and confidentiality (GDPR awareness).
Hours & Working Conditions Part-time hours (e.g., ***** hours per week) - exact schedule to be agreed.
Office-based role in Limerick.
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
