About Padel LKPadel LK is Limerick's newest and only padel tennis facility. We are looking to hire a Front of House staff member to work a range of day and evening shifts on a 30 hour per week basis.Please note that the shifts will be both midweek and weekend shifts so applicants should only apply if they have availability for both. Additional hours may be required during busy periods and for holiday cover.Position OverviewThe Front of House team are the first point of contact for Padel LK and are key to providing excellent customer service, and assisting customers with court set up, bookings and questions. The candidate must be enthusiastic, punctual, outgoing and thorough with an attention to detail and have a passion for sport. This position does involve weekends, with a combination of morning, daytime and evening shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesOpening and closing of the facilityProvide a warm welcome to all patrons, assisting with check in and queriesAnswering emails and phone calls in a timely and professional mannerPreparation and service of specialty hot beveragesPreparation & service of food & drinksComply with food hygiene and health & safety standardsManaging individual and group bookings through website, mobile applications and walk-insMaintain a spotless and pleasant environment at all times by helping with cleaning of the facility during shifts, including courts and changing facilitiesAssist with marketing activities when requiredEnsuring compliance with Health & Safety requirementsSkills & QualificationsExperience working within food service or hospitality sectorBarista training is preferredFront of house experience in a gym or leisure facility is preferredOutgoing, friendly, and enjoy interacting with people.Excellent customer service and communication skillsMaintain a professional appearance and behaviour.Experience in payment handlingStrong administration and computer skillsBe meticulous and take pride in the facilities look and cleanliness.A personal interest or background in sports, fitness, or community engagement is a strong plusThe ability to work in a quick and efficient manner at paceTo comply with all policies and proceduresTo comply with food hygiene and health and safety standardsAdditional RequirementsCandidates will need to successfully pass Garda Vetting as part of the hiring processMust be flexible with hours.
