Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Management:
* Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees.
* Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, benefits, deductions, and taxes.
* Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
2. Time & Attendance Management:
* Oversee operation and maintenance of T&A system.
* Provide support to managers & employees on T&A system.
* Ensure T&A practices comply with employment legislation and company policies.
3. Compliance & Reporting:
* Ensure compliance with local tax laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
* Prepare and submit statutory returns (e.g., PAYE, PRSI, USC).
* Support audits and provide payroll-related documentation as required.
4. System & Process Improvement:
* Manage payroll systems and software.
* Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
* Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure alignment of payroll with organizational goals.
5. Team Leadership:
* Supervise payroll staff and provide training and development.
* Delegate tasks and monitor performance to ensure timely delivery.
6. Employee Support:
* Address payroll-related queries from employees.
* Ensure correct application of leave entitlements and benefits.
* Support on-boarding and off-boarding processes from a payroll perspective.
