Goods Inwards- Bluebell
We wish to recruit a Goods Inwards Person to join our well-established company, based at Brooks, Bluebell, Dublin. The role includeto ensure all incoming goods are received, checked, recorded, and stored accurately and efficiently in accordance with company procedures, supporting smooth warehouse operations and accurate inventory control..
Role Responsibilities:
* Receive Deliveries:
* Receive and unload incoming goods safely.
* Verify delivery quantities and product details against purchase orders.
* Inventory Management:
* Process and record received goods accurately in the company's inventory system.
* File and maintain all relevant delivery and receipt documentation.
* Communication & Issue Resolution:
* Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies, damages, or delivery issues.
* Stock Control:
* Assist with stock taking and cycle counting procedures.
* Work closely with the Inventory Coordinator to maintain accurate stock records and compliance with company inventory procedures.
* Returns & Transfers:
* Document and process goods returned to suppliers.
* Handle and record inter-branch transfers as required.
* Documentation & Filing:
* Scan and file driver gate sheets and other relevant paperwork in line with company filing systems.
Criteria:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Knowledge of stock control procedures is an advantage
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Basic IT literacy and familiarity with inventory systems.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
