Manufacturing Leadership Role
A Manufacturing Manager is required to develop, implement and maintain world-class manufacturing processes for our products. The role involves partnering with R&D on new product development, managing 3rd party manufacturing partners and traveling regularly to company and contract manufacturing sites.
* Develop effective and efficient manufacturing processes for our products and imaging technologies.
* Partner with R&D on new product development including design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design transfer to internal and/or contract manufacturing operations.
* Manage good working relationships and partnerships for effective management of 3rd party manufacturing partners.
* Prepare and lead formal reviews of manufacturing development, challenges and production analyses.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related specialty, at least 10 years of experience, and 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes that meet high-quality standards.
* R&D Collaboration: Partner with the R&D team to develop new products, incorporating design-for-manufacturing principles and ensuring seamless design transfer to manufacturing operations.
* Partner Management: Foster strong relationships with 3rd-party manufacturing partners, ensuring effective collaboration and communication to drive business success.
* Leadership and Review: Lead formal reviews of manufacturing performance, highlighting areas for improvement and driving process enhancements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
* At least 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
* 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in a regulated industry.
