An established and reputable hearing care provider is seeking a Retail Store Manager to oversee operations at its Dun Laoghaire branch. The clinic has a strong local reputation, a steady walk‑in customer base, and is entering a new phase of digital, including the implementation of a CRM system and other customer engagement technologies.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Dun Laoghaire branch.
* Support and collaborate with the on‑site audiologist to ensure a full and efficient appointment diary.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to both walk‑in and returning clients, assisting with hearing aid queries, fittings, and product purchases.
* Proactively drive store performance, encouraging bookings and supporting conversions to hearing aid sales.
* Engage with the local community to build awareness and grow the customer base (e.g., local partnerships, community events, outreach).
* Oversee administrative duties, including appointment scheduling, CRM updates, and stock management.
* Ensure smooth integration of digital tools and processes as the business continues its modernization.
Candidate Profile
* Strong background in a customer‑facing retail environment (optical, pharmacy, telecoms, or similar) preferred.
* Proven ability to manage store operations and deliver sales targets.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a warm, professional communication style.
* Ability to build trust with customers, many of whom are older adults.
* Organized and comfortable adopting new systems and technologies.
* Previous experience in healthcare or hearing care is an advantage but not essential – full training will be provided.

* Retail / Store Management Experience – proven experience managing a retail store, branch, or customer‑facing team, including operations, staff scheduling, and administration.
* Strong interpersonal skills with experience serving walk‑in clients and providing excellent customer service.
* Demonstrated ability to drive sales, convert inquiries into bookings/purchases, and meet or exceed targets.
* Experience motivating and managing a small team, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow.
* Comfortable using CRM, POS, or scheduling systems and adopting new digital tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, professional demeanor, and strong organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: €32,000-€40,000 (depending on experience/Negotiable)
Commission: €100 per completed hearing aid booking (approx. 5 per week achievable; paid monthly)

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm or 10:00am-6:00pm. Potential for Saturday openings in the future.
