A leading international multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their growing team in Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer looking to take a leading role on complex technical due diligence and infrastructure projects across Ireland and Europe while working with global clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
The successful candidate will support major site selection and technical assessment projects, coordinating technical specialists and delivering high-level engineering analysis for large-scale developments and infrastructure investment projects.
Projects
Large-scale technical due diligence and site selection projects (€50M – €500M+)
Data centre and critical infrastructure developments (€100M – €1BN+)
Industrial and advanced manufacturing projects
Multidisciplinary engineering and infrastructure assessments
Strategic site acquisition and feasibility studies
International infrastructure and technology projects across Europe
Role
Leading and managing engineering teams across multidisciplinary projects
Managing technical project programmes and project delivery timelines
Coordinating technical due diligence studies and engineering assessments
Liaising closely with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
Managing project documentation, reporting and technical outputs
Presenting technical findings and site analysis to clientsSupporting technical risk management and project decision-making
Requirements
Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline
6+ years' experience within engineering, infrastructure or technical project delivery
Strong track record in technical programme or project management
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience delivering technical due diligence, infrastructure or complex engineering projects is highly desirable
Chartered status is beneficial but not essential
