Offer description
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Professional to join our team on a minimum 3-month temporary contract with potential for permanency. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and support a busy finance function during a period of increased activity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately record all financial transactions and maintain up-to-date ledgers.
* Process weekly/monthly payroll, including timely PAYE/PRSI submissions.
* Manage supplier invoices, payment runs, and customer invoicing.
* Complete monthly reconciliations for bank, supplier, and customer accounts.
* Maintain documentation for external audits.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns and other Revenue filings.
* Manage petty cash and reconcile company credit card statements.
* Liaise with external accountants and auditors.
* Support stock control reconciliations (useful in production or retail environments).
* Maintain strong financial controls and confidentiality at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounts role.
* At least 1 year working in an Irish accounts environment.
* Experience with Xero (accounting software) and BrightPay (payroll) is a distinct advantage.
* Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to work independently.
