The Team Leader is responsible to supervise Warewash & Equipment staff and daily routine activities of the Warewash & Equipment. Supervising other activities spanning across connected departments within the company and other companies involved in the main Warewash & Equipment activities.
Responsibilities
* Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
* Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet goals.
* Direct and organise workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
* Advise the Warewash & Equipment Manager on all matters relating to the supplies thereby ensuring that adequate levels of stock are always maintained.
* Maintain stock, stock control records by organizing and maintaining documents of materials received, requisitions, receipts, and issuing documents.
* Meets Warewash & Equipment operational standards by contributing Warewash & Equipment information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying Warewash & Equipment system improvements.
* Performance of the staff in the shift from efficiency, compliance and safe working place point of view. Staff performance and work discipline is maintained at all the times
* Organising the training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress.
* Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you in line with business needs by your Line Manager.
Requirements
* Previous experience working in Warewash and/or catering kitchen operations is beneficial
* Previous experience leading a team is essential
* Be fully flexible to work weekdays and weekends
* Be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Must be able to go through a 5-year background check and Garda Vetting
* Authorised to work in Ireland
