Project Manager (Construction) A long-established and highly respected Irish main contractor is seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support continued growth and deliver several high-profile projects across multiple sectors. The Role As Project Manager, you will lead construction projects from initial set-up through to handover and evaluation, ensuring excellence in delivery, programme, quality, and commercial performance. You will manage diverse teams, liaise closely with clients, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance throughout project execution. Key Responsibilities Manage full project lifecycle from mobilisation to completion and evaluation Establish performance and delivery criteria to ensure client requirements are fully met Deliver projects in line with the companys Quality and Project Management Systems Ensure all project documentation complies with internal procedures and project specifications Maintain structured and accurate project controls to support traceability and decision-making Lead weekly client update meetings and report on KPIs, progress, and upcoming milestones Plan and manage all labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources Drive, motivate, and coordinate a large project team to meet deadlines and project expectations Work closely with the Site Safety Officer to uphold best-in-class safety standards Communicate technical and project-related information effectively to all stakeholders Support cost control, programme management, and quality assurance throughout delivery Requirements Degree qualification in Engineering (additional study advantageous) Minimum 5 years project management experience, ideally with a Main Contractor Proficiency in ASTA Powerproject or MS Project Proven ability to take ownership of large-scale projects with strong results in delivery, cost, and programme Experience managing diverse project teams Strong communication skills with experience on medium-to-large public and private sector projects Background in Pharma, Industrial, Commercial, Education, Health, or Data Centre construction Experience with large-scale projects or structural steel/services an advantage Excellent analytical, organisational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Strong knowledge of contractual documentation and interpretation Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Impeccable attention to detail Full driver's licence Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
