MCS Group is seeking an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their innovative client, a global organisation with offices in County Louth. With multiple projects in the pipeline and a growing team, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cloud expert to join a successful team in a newly created position. As this is a senior lead role within the organisation we are looking to speak with those who have a high level of expertise in AWS/Azure Infrastructure and can also engage with non-technical stakeholders with high quality communication skills. (5 days on-site - County Louth) The Role Engineer and maintain AWS infrastructure to a high standard Automate cloud infrastructure tasks utilising AWS tools e.g. Lambda Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards and have a security focused mindset in relation to Cloud Infrastructure. Take a proactive approach to supporting internal team members with data transfer work day to day. Leverage tools and technologies to enhance delivery and management of the cloud training and awareness programme. The Person (Essentials) A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. At least 5+ years of experience in Cloud Computing/Architecture. Strong understanding AWS infrastructure, tools and cost optimisation. Strong scripting skills e.g. Bash, Python, Shell as well as IAC experience. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience training junior team members a big plus. You'll have the right to work in Ireland. Happy to work in on-site 5 days a week.
